Very
excited to announce the Dreamspinner will be publishing my story Soul Seekers
in May/June of 2016. Soul Seekers started as a weekly flash fiction story which
I pulled to complete and submit for publishing. Here is a tentative and very
rough blurb:
Levi Reed is a nineteen-year-old college student who’s
lived a lifetime with hollow emotions and a darkness so deep that he's
convinced he’s losing his mind. He'd give anything to feel something, anything,
that’s real.
When a mysterious stranger appears, Levi is convinced the man is somehow trying to kill him. When he’s near, Levi experiences head crushing pain, surging darkness, and something surprising—real emotions for the first time ever. Meeting the man, Levi finds he isn't the harbinger of death as he’d originally thought. Jeb Monroe is an arrogant, self-assured, closed-off, handsome man with a mission. Help Levi find his missing soul.

Levi is pulled into the world of Seers and Keepers,
those born with the innate abilities to manipulate souls and tasked with
balancing the negative energy of the natural world. Levi learns that he’s a
rare combination of a Seer and a Keeper, and he’s in danger. As Jeb and Levi
grow closer, a group of zealots want to harness the darkness within Levi to
cleanse the world of damaged souls. To do this, Levi will have to sacrifice
someone close to Jeb. Everyone Levi loves and cares for is in danger unless he
agrees to become their tool of death. But what none of them understand is that
once that darkness is unleashed upon the world no one will be left alive. And
it’s up to Levi to save them all.
