October 31st through November 1st!
Great authors and great prizes!!!
Halloween is one of my favorite times of year not because I love the decorations or the costumes. No, I LOVE scary movies and the entire month of October is filled with them!
I also LOVE to write paranormal novels.
So as part of the Spooktacular Halloween Hop I am giving away three eBook copies of my new novel, Diventando: The Vessel.
How do I win one of these eBooks you
may ask?
Easy. Leave a comment and tell me your favorite scary movies! I will pick 3 random winners on NOv. 3rd from those who leave comments so include your email address as well please!
Also, read my two free Halloween stories, Thor and the Computer Nerd: A Short Halloween Love Story.
And
The Corn Maze
And
The Corn Maze
And without further ado. Here is a list (in no particular order) of a few of my favorite scary movies!
The House On Haunted Hill (original version)
The Shining
Halloween
The Blair Witch Project
The Omen
The Exorcist
Now tell me yours and Happy Halloween!!

I hope you don't mind that I tell you I hate horror movies, stories, etc. I even hated ghost stories around campfires when I was a kid. Sorry about that.

ReplyDeleteleetee2007@hotmail.com
Lee I can't believe I left Poltergeist off my list! Love it!
DeleteI've only recently grown to like scary movies. Insidious and VHS are two movies I found really scary. For tv show it's Dead Set (5 epsiode British zombie drama)

Haven't see any of those and will check them out!
DeletePersonally I love anything Stephen King, but only the ones that he did the screenplays for. You like the Shining, I like the remake, the one with the guy from Wings as the dad and Rebecca DeMorney as the mom. The Storm of the Century and The Stand are right up there, too.

DeleteOne of my favs, because there are a few, is An American Werewolf in Paris. Not technically scary, but still good. But it has to be Scary, scary, then...hmmm...Silent Hill maybe, or the Unborn.

I LOVED An American Werewolf in Paris! great movie Carrier
DeleteI found Leprechaun to be very scary.
ReplyDeletedebby236 at gmail dot com
I never watched Leprechaun cause it looked scary! LOL
DeleteHmm tricky as I am not a horror fan and I have only read some of The Shinning book but I have not watched the film version. The scariest I go is are: Practical Magic, The Little Vampire, Young Frankenstein, Tremors, Hocus Pocus and the scariest of all - Gremlins!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a chance to win a copy of your book Diventando and I enjoyed reading your Halloween free stories :) slholland22 {at} hotmail {dot} com
Glad you liked my Halloween short. I really liked Hocus Pocus (watching with my kids was awesome) and Gremlins!
DeleteThe Shining is my favorite scary movie. Blair Witch Project really freaked me out too much, so I can't say I actually liked it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win Diventando. It sounds really good. I read Dare to Love Forever a little while ago and enjoyed it. Hope you are planning a sequel.

DeleteI'm not one for scary movies, but I'd have to say my favorite is The Birds.
ReplyDeletevampwriterblog@gmail.com
Kazy I loved The Birds!! Thanks for commenting
ReplyDeletefor me one of it is the ring (japanese version)... I almost didn't sleep for seven days
ReplyDeleteNot much of a scary movie watcher! With a book you can put it down and come back to it and never lose your place. It doesn't work so well with a movie!
